Mandarin Spark is a new type of study tool to learn Chinese and expand your vocabulary. It splits words into 3 core components: characters + pinyin + tones. You can study the words using interactive flashcards, helping you to build language skills in each core component. The app tracks your study habits and identifies you areas of strength and weakness. It uses this information to optimize your test sequences, helping you to use your study time most effectively and make quick progress.

The app contains 3x distinct flashcards formats which have been specially designed to test each of the core Mandarin component. These are:
• Characters
• Pinyin
• Tones
Each day that you use the app, a fully optimized flashcard sequence is generated unique to you. This ensures you are tested on your weakest areas first and helps you to learn Chinese faster. Using the Smart Study System, you spend less time learning components you already know well and more time on components you find difficult.
You can create your own study lists and flashcard decks using the built-in dictionary. Alternatively you can use pre-installed HSK word lists. HSK levels 1 to 6 are available.

Mandarin audio is provided using the built-in text-to-speech (TTS) engine. Hear the words spoken during flashcard sessions or look up words in the dictionary.

Supports both simplified and traditional character sets.
